Well here we are week 8. Thank you Mark for guiding me through what I have found to be a most enlightening course and one that I will draw from well into the future. I chose Loving-Kindness and Meeting Aesclepius. The second I find particularly comforting as the person I picture is my former acupuncturist and dear friend Don. He is wise beyond this world, has a voice that is smoother and richer than any fine silk or velvet and if I didn't know any better holds within his hands true and real magic. He is a healer. Anyway we spoke today and he is more than willing to record any exercise for me so I can truly experience them for what they should be. Truth be told when I struggled with my own personal demons, he saved my life. He took me to a barn where "the real deal" Tibetan monks were chanting, they were guests of an very wealthy family in Bucks County PA raising money and awareness for the Tibetan cause...a LIFE CHANGING event for me. I could goon and on but I digress. I think that's why I am now and again drawn to Loving-Kindness I have been the receiver of and now I want to be a giver as well.
Peace,
Robin
